With its bent beech-wood frame and woven cane backrest, the Suzenne GTV chair reinterprets classic Thonet techniques through a softer, more intimate design language.

Bent Beech Wood and Woven Cane

At the heart of the Suzenne GTV lounge chair lies the brand’s signature element: steam-bent solid beech wood. The structure combines straight and curved lines, creating a balanced silhouette that feels both architectural and welcoming.

The woven cane backrest, framed in wood, adds lightness and texture. As a result, the chair maintains visual transparency while preserving structural integrity. This interplay between curved wood and woven cane connects Suzenne directly to the heritage of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna.

Soft Upholstered Comfort

In contrast to the light cane structure, the seat and back cushions introduce softness and comfort. They appear almost to bloom from the wooden frame, echoing the organic sensitivity typical of Chiara Andreatti’s design.
