The Ulisse Altacom transforming coffee table combines generous proportions with exceptional flexibility. It starts as a low coffee table and transforms into a large dining table. Moreover, both the height and tabletop length can change according to your needs.
When closed, Ulisse measures W 120 × D 80 cm and stands only 25 cm high. Therefore, it works naturally as a substantial coffee table in a living area. However, the gas lifting mechanism raises the tabletop continuously up to 86.5 cm.
Two integrated extensions also increase the table length from 120 to 220 cm. As a result, Ulisse offers considerably more dining space without requiring a permanent full-size dining table.
From 25 to 86.5 cm high
The gas lifting mechanism allows millimetre-by-millimetre height adjustment between 25 and 86.5 cm. Consequently, you can adapt Ulisse to different activities throughout the day.
At its lowest position, it functions as a coffee table. Alternatively, you can select an intermediate height for working or casual use. Raise it further and Ulisse becomes a full-height dining table.
Moreover, Altacom integrates wheels beneath the base. These hidden wheels make repositioning the table easier while maintaining its clean appearance.
Two integrated 50 cm extensions
Ulisse features a synchronized opening system with two internal extensions. Each extension adds 50 cm to the tabletop.
The first extension increases the length from 120 to 170 cm. Opening the second creates a generous 220 × 80 cm dining surface.
Therefore, Ulisse offers three practical tabletop lengths: 120, 170 and 220 cm. Both extensions remain inside the table when closed. Consequently, you do not need separate storage for additional panels.
Metal base and versatile top finishes
The Ulisse Altacom table features a metal base with a transforming crossed structure. Meanwhile, the current collection offers a broad selection of tabletop finishes.
Available options include melamine, open-pore lacquered, oak veneer, Canaletto walnut, old oak and mortar-look. Therefore, the appearance can range from clean and contemporary to warm and natural.
For example, oak veneer creates a classic wood character. Canaletto walnut introduces a richer appearance, while old oak adds a more distinctive natural effect. Alternatively, mortar-look provides a more architectural surface.
