Designed by Calligaris Studio, Cave takes inspiration from the characteristic veining and delicate tonal variations of one of Italy’s most recognisable natural stones. The result is an elegant rug with a sophisticated yet understated appearance.

Inspired by Carrara marble

The distinctive pattern recreates the visual character of marble through subtle lines and tonal variations. However, instead of the cool and solid appearance of stone, Cave introduces this effect through a soft textile surface.

Its light, neutral palette makes the rug particularly versatile. Therefore, it can complement interiors featuring wood, ceramic, glass, metal and upholstered furniture. The marble-inspired pattern adds visual interest without making the overall composition feel too busy.

For contemporary and classic interiors
