The Parisienne Calligaris chair brings the character of classic French bistro seating into a contemporary interior. Designed by Archirivolto, its rounded silhouette and complete absence of sharp edges recall the soft shapes of early 20th-century French café chairs. At the same time, the monoblock construction gives Parisienne a clean and modern appearance.

Contemporary French bistro inspiration

Parisienne stands out for its curved backrest, rounded seat and slender profile. These elements create a recognisable silhouette without adding unnecessary visual weight. Therefore, the chair works particularly well around modern dining tables, in kitchens and in more informal dining spaces.

Moreover, its lightweight construction makes the chair easy to move. Up to four Parisienne chairs can be stacked, which makes storage more convenient when additional floor space is needed.

Recycled polypropylene or transparent polycarbonate

The current Parisienne CS1263 collection offers two different material expressions. The 100% recycled polypropylene version comes in Matt Black or Matt Hemp. Alternatively, the polycarbonate version is available in Transparent Smoke Grey, Transparent Amber or fully Transparent.

The solid matt finishes give Parisienne a softer and more understated character. In contrast, the transparent versions emphasise its curved silhouette and create a lighter visual effect. As a result, the same chair can suit very different interiors.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor spaces

Parisienne is also suitable for outdoor use, making it a versatile choice for terraces and other exterior dining areas. However, Calligaris recommends avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and atmospheric agents.

The combination of low weight, stackability and a monoblock construction also makes Parisienne practical for spaces where chairs need to be moved or stored regularly. The official Calligaris description likewise highlights its suitability for kitchens, bars and shared outdoor areas.
