The Domino Altacom extending console table offers a particularly compact solution for multifunctional interiors. Its simple metal frame supports an integrated folding top. Therefore, Domino can change from a narrow console into a practical table without separate extension panels.

When closed, the console measures only W 90 × D 30 × H 75 cm. Its reduced depth makes it easy to position against a wall. For example, it can work well in an entrance, hallway, kitchen or compact living area.

However, Domino can provide considerably more surface space when required. Its folding system expands the tabletop from 30 to 90 cm. As a result, one compact piece of furniture can perform different functions throughout the day.

Integrated folding top

Unlike Altacom consoles that use telescopic mechanisms and removable extensions, Domino uses an integrated folding top. The tabletop consists of three 30 cm sections.

To expand the table, the folding sections open to create a surface measuring 90 × 90 cm. Therefore, there is no need to store separate extension panels elsewhere in the room.

Moreover, this construction keeps the transformation simple. Once you no longer need the larger surface, the top folds back into its compact configuration.

Compact proportions

Space efficiency defines the Domino Altacom console. In its closed position, the top measures only 30 cm deep. Consequently, Domino requires very little floor space compared with a conventional table.

The console stands at 75 cm high when closed. When fully open, the technical drawing indicates a height of approximately 79 cm.

Its compact dimensions make Domino especially interesting for smaller apartments and multifunctional rooms. Meanwhile, the 90 × 90 cm open surface provides a useful table area whenever needed.

Metal frame and melamine top

Domino combines a metal frame with a melamine folding top. This straightforward material combination supports the clean and functional character of the design. Moreover, the current Altacom collection offers the metal base in several finishes.

The melamine tabletop also comes in a selection of finishes. Therefore, Domino can adapt to different colour schemes and interior styles while maintaining the same practical construction.
